Songs of Conquest: Vanir DLC Launching Next Week

Coffee Stain Publishing and Lavapotion announced a release date for strategy RPG Songs of Conquests Vanir DLC. The game’s first DLC, it will release for PC and Mac on December 17, 2024, priced at $11.99/£9.99/€11.79. A console release has not been announced.

The DLC adds the new Vanir faction, which is inspired by Viking and Scandinavian folklore, and a new snowy biome, the Bleak East. The Vanir are said to be direct descendants of indebted Baryans and Arleon settlers. It also includes eight new troop types including new traits and abilities, plus nine new Wielders.

Songs of Conquest released for PC and Mac in May 2024, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions released last month. The game features turn-based strategy inspired by titles such as the Heroes of Might and Magic and the Age of Wonders series. In addition to the campaign, players can engage in skirmish battles as well as use its map editor to create their own scenarios.
