Where Winds Meet Hexi Finale Update Arriving Next Week

Everstone Studio announced that the third and final part of its free Hexi expansion to Where Winds Meet will arrive on April 30, 2026. The “Finale: Qinchuan” chapter adds the eponymous grassland region of Qinchuan, which features a season-switching map that dynamically shifts between the four seasons, with players obtaining a new Mystic Skill, Idle Wind, that helps them navigate it.

In addition to new main story content, the update will feature three new side stories following the expansion’s homecoming theme, as well as three new stronghold challenges. It also includes a new dual world boss, the Snowplum Requiem, plus a new team-based PvP mode and the start of its Season 3: Seek Within content.

Where Winds Meet is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The game is set in the years leading to the start of the Northern Song Dynasty in China (second half of the 9th century CE). Players take on the role of a wandering swordsman, who must choose whether to uphold their moral code or live for themselves in a time ravaged by fighting. The game features fast-paced, Wuxia-style combat and implements many aspects of Chinese martial arts.
