Coincidentally, I got Tales of Xillia Remastered for Christmas. Some other gifts of note are the full edition of Sound Horizon’s latest album, Ema ni Negai Wo and a Blu-ray of Steins;Gate: The Movie − Load Region of Déjà Vu.
Most of the gifts I gave were nothing special, but the most interesting might be the special wicker Hello Kitty hamper I gave to my sister, who absolutely loves it.
Happy New Year all! I got some RayBan Meta Glasses with prescription lenses from the family and I must say, they are neat. A skeptic of the whole idea of “smart glasses”, I now see a value to the tech, just for the discrete, beautifully effective in-arm speakers. I think all glasses should jam some of the speaker tech into everyday frames. I would ditch my Airpods for the speaker feature for all day use, but the biggest downside is the measly battery life. These are the 1st gen version meant to be wore around the house and in limited contexts but but i read the 2nd version apparently addresses the battery longevity nicely. I might now be willing, in the future, to have glasses with some type of augmented reality features. As long as i don’t get a splitting headache (not an issue with these RayBan’s) from any future AR futures, i think i might be a big fan.
