Realm of Ink Gets Spring Update

Publisher 4Divinity and developer Leap Studio have released a new Steam Early Access update for action roguelite Realm of Ink. The new update adds the game’s Affinity System, which lets players build connections with major characters through events, as well as its Endless Mode, which is available after obtaining the game’s true ending. It also contains various gameplay improvements.

Having been in Early Access since 2024, Realm of Ink will fully release on May 26, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The game follows swordswoman Red, who chases after a Fox Demon while trapped inside a world painted in ink. Runs let players unlock new combat forms and supernatural abilities as well as evolve Story Relics. The game features nine combat forms and weapons, with players able to equip 40+ elemental Ink Gems to create combos as well as 200+ unlockable perks, and fight alongside Ink Pets that take on forms based on their equipped Ink Gems.
