Another Eden Begins Announced
Developer Wright Flyer Studios announced Another Eden Begins, a follow-up to turn-based RPG Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space. The game is being developed alongside Studio Prisma, with the game’s Scenario and Direction by Chrono Trigger and Xenogears script writer Masato Kato. It is planned to release in summer 2026 for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, with English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language support.
Another Eden Begins is set in the same multiverse as Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space and features a new cast of characters. The game follows Aldo and his sister Feinne, who live an idyllic life in the village of Baruoki until Feinne is taken by the Beast King. After a battle, Aldo is sent 800 years into the future through a tear in spacetime.
The game features eighteen companions, with Aldo able to forge connections through various quests. The game includes command-based battles, with players able to build up a gauge and use it to stop enemies taking action. New Game+ plays an important role in the game, with players able to carry their character’s power forwards and uncover ten different endings based on their choices.
