Hytale Gets Early Access Release

Hypixel Studios has released its voxel-based sandbox RPG Hytale as an Early Access title on PC. The Early Access version is available now to those who pre-purchase the game through its official store, starting at $19.99 (not including sales tax). It currently includes the game’s Exploration Mode, Creative Mode, modding support, and multiplayer support.

Exploration Mode sees players explore a procedurally generated world containing various biomes, ancient structures, and creatures both friendly and dangerous. Players can also build a home, grow crops, and craft items and equipment. Creative Mode provides tools for creators to make models, create custom maps, and more. The full version is planned to also include an Adventure Mode, official mini-games, and more, though its release window has not yet been announced.

Hytale originally began development in 2015 under Hypixel Studios, which was acquired by Riot Games in 2020. However, Riot Games elected to cancel the project in 2025, before Hypixel Studios’s original founders purchased it and resumed work from a previous legacy build.
