Lords of the Fallen II Gets New Trailer, Lords of the Fallen Version 2.5 Patch Released

CI Games released its first gameplay trailer for action RPG Lords of the Fallen II. The video showcases the game’s brutal combat as well as some of the foes players will take on when the game releases for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2026.

Lords of the Fallen II is a sequel to 2023 title Lords of the Fallen, itself a reboot of the original 2014 game of the same name. The game is set 100 years after the events of the 2023 game. It will feature two explorable parallel realms, full shared co-op progression, and optional PvP and game modifiers.

In addition, the developer has released a free Version 2.5 update for Lords of the Fallen. The update includes a new challenging Veteran mode, adjustments to enemy and boss behaviour across both Legacy and Veteran mode to increase the challenge, and new signature attack animations for several boss weapons. The new Veteran mode rewards those who beat it with the Veteran of the Veil high-end armor set, which is infused with a unique passive that boosts item drop rates, and also comes with additional Achievements/Trophies. The full patch notes are available on the game’s website.
