Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Receives Free Thank You Update

To celebrate the game’s appearance during The Game Awards, Sandfall Interactive and Kepler Interactive have released a free “Thank You” update for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The update adds a new playable environment called Verso’s Drafts, which features a whimsical storybook adventure. It also includes boss challenges in the Endless Tower, which reward new Pictos, costumes, and gear; an official photo mode; new Czech, Ukrainian, Latin American Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, and Indonesian localisations; as well as additional graphical options and quality-of-life improvements.

Available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG with combat that utilises a free aim system to let players target weak points, as well as to dodge, parry, and counter in real time. The game is set in a world where a being called the Paintress wakes and paints a cursed number upon a monolith, which causes everyone of that age to turn to smoke and disappear. As the number counts down, expeditions set out in the footsteps of previous failures to try and end the cycle of death once and for all.
