Relayer Advanced Definitive Edition Available on Nintendo Switch 2

Dragami Games released Relayer Advanced Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 today. The title is a port of mecha tactical RPG Relayer Advanced that is currently available on PC (via Steam and GOG.com), PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The Definitive Edition is available digitally for $34.99, with a 15% launch discount, and comes with all the DLC released for Relayer Advanced. It also has English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean language options.

Initially released in 2022 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Relayer is set in the year 2051 as humanity finds itself under invasion from an alien force called Relayer. Certain humans called Starchildren begin to discover unique powers bestowed upon them and become the only ones capable of piloting Stellar Gear, large mechs that are humanity’s sole answer to the Relayer.

Relayer Advanced includes a number of new features and some additional content over the original game. It features a reworked battle UI, which replaces the straight grids with “luminous lines” to show the battlefield, unit positioning, and ranges. Players are able to readily swap between the new and original UIs. It also adds a new Recollection feature, where players can view past events from the story at will. Finally, it includes new endgame content in the form of the five-stage “Wormhole Mission”, which can be accessed after clearing the main story.
