Ember and Blade Gets New Trailer, Steam Next Fest Demo

Developer LINE Games released a new trailer for action RPG Ember and Blade. The video showcases its hack-and-slash gameplay and comes ahead of a Steam Next Fest demo for the game, which will be available on October 5, 2025, on PC via Steam. The demo will feature part of the game’s Act 2, which lets players explore the Forsaken Library. Players will be able to wield the blessings of angels Remiel and Galiliel and face off against boss Arcanus, the Faceless.

Ember and Blade follows demon hunter Fenrix, who has been cursed with immortality following a pact with an angel. The player is tasked with undertaking a dangerous journey to slay archdemon Asmodeus in the very realm where the evil being is sealed. Battles see Players carving their way through hordes of demons and challenging hellsend bosses who require precise timing to be bested. Players can wield two weapon categories and harness angels’ blessings, which come with various perks. They can also forge new tools for their weaponry and create relics that grant further power. The game features roguelite elements, with player character deaths unlocking new secrets. Ember and Blade will release on PC via Steam though no release date has been revealed.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
