Wizardry Variants Daphne Adds New Class, Legendary Adventurer

Drecom has released a new update for dungeon-crawler Wizardry Variants Daphne. The update adds the new Samurai class, which is a katana-using class that focuses on being adaptive through multiple sword stances in place of being able to equip other weapons or shields. It also adds a new Legendary Adventurer, Shiou. Known as the Everlasting Katana Hunter, Shiou is a beastfolk samurai, master of the Ephemeral Illusion stance, and famous for her sword skills and survival ability.

Originally announced as Wizardry VA, Wizardry Variants Daphne features 3D first-person dungeon-crawling as players deal with the monsters and traps within. Its setting is a dungeon called the Abyss, which opens every 100 years, whereupon its curse of death attempts to consume the world until those of a fated lineage can seal it. The game is available for PC, iOS, and Android as a free-to-play title with in-game transactions.
