Wizardry VA Gets Official Title, 2023 Launch Window

Publisher Drecom and developer Studio 2PRO revealed the official title for Wizardry VA. Wizardry Variants Daphne is the latest game to take on the dungeon-crawling series’ lineage with the announcement coming with the release of its official website as well as a new trailer and an early 2023 launch window for iOS and Android. The game will be available as a free-to-play title with in-game transactions.

Wizardry Variants Daphne is set in a world where a dungeon called the Abyss opens every 100 years. Upon its opening, its curse of death attempts to consume the world, with a lineage of kings able to re-seal it across thousands of years. However, the king is now missing and the world is being consumed, with players electing to enter the Abyss themselves. The game features 3D first-person dungeon-crawling as players deal with the monsters and traps within.
