Wizardry Variants Daphne Gets Release Window

Developer Studio 2PRO and publisher Drecom announced a release window for 3D dungeon RPG Wizardry Variants Daphne. The title will launch in October for iOS and Android, with pre-registration available in August. The companies have yet to confirm whether this release window is for Japan only or applies internationally. A PC release is planned at a later date following the launch on mobile.

Originally announced as Wizardry VA, Wizardry Variants Daphne features 3D first-person dungeon-crawling as players deal with the monsters and traps within. Its setting is a dungeon called the Abyss, which opens every 100 years, whereupon its curse of death attempts to consume the world until those of a fated lineage can seal it. The game is a free-to-play title with in-game transactions.
