Hooded Horse to Publish Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era

Ubisoft and Unfrozen have announced that they are partnering with publisher Hooded Horse for the release of Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era. Hooded Horse will act as a publisher for the game, with Ubisoft continuing to hold the rights to the series and continuing to support the game’s development. The game is still planned to release on Steam Early Access this summer and spend around a year in Early Access before fully launching on PC.

Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era takes place on the continent of Jadame, which has been mentioned in the series but not previously visited. Gameplay sees players expanding the castles and kingdom while sending out heroes and armies to explore and defeat foes. The campaign sees rival factions banding together to defeat the Hive, a swarm of insectoids corrupted by a demon lord. There will also be various single maps and randomly-generated scenarios as well as a selection of competitive multiplayer modes and a map editor that will let players share their creations with others.
