Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Gets Scherazard, English Bose Trailers; Orbment Details
GungHo Online Entertainment and Nihon Falcom released new videos and details for the upcoming The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter remake. GungHo Online Entertainment released an English version of the introduction trailer to the Bose region and its characters, while Nihon Falcom released a new Japanese trailer introducing Senior Bracer Scherazard Harvey, who helps out protagonist duo Estelle and Joshua, and also provided details about the game’s Orbment systems.
The series sees character utilise portable devices called Orbments, which have different generations across the games they take place in. These allow the users to equip quartz that boost their stats and grant access to abilities called Arts. There are seven types/elements of quartz: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, Time, Space, and Mirage. For Trails in the Sky’s Orbments, the elemental values of the quartz equipped into each line are tallied up to determine what Arts can be used. The game includes an auto-equip option that automatically equips the best suited quarts for balanced, physical, or speed-based build options.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is the first game in the series taking place on the continent of Zemuria. It follows adopted siblings Estelle and Joshua as they set out to become Bracers, a group that acts to protect the safety of the world citizens. Acting as junior Bracers, they look to become full-fledged Bracers by taking on jobs across the Kingdom of Liberl. The game will release worldwide on September 19, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Those wishing to read more about the series can check out RPGamer’s Where to Start? guide.
