Super Robot Wars Y Gets New Trailer

Bandai Namco released a new trailer for crossover mecha tactical RPG Super Robot Wars Y. The five-minute “Nemesis” trailer shows many of the foes that players will face off against in the game, as well as the original character Re Seivas and his mecha unit Vi Lumenus. It also reveals the STG Memory system, where players use points earned from missions and other activities to unlock various effects in combat, as well as auto-save and auto-battle features.

Developed by Bandai Namco Forge Digitals (previously known as B.B. Studio), which developed many of the previous titles in the series, Super Robot Wars Y features an original story combining the universes of various mecha anime series, with players commanding a force against foes on a grid-based battlefield. The game will release on August 28, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
