Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution Coming to PC

Idea Factory International announced that Compile Heart’s Neptunia spin-off Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution will be coming to PC. The action RPG — which released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch last year — will release via Steam later this year.

Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution stars an older version of series protagonist Neptune. It is set in a world with competing game studios and sees Neptune joining up with a trio of developer goddesses whose endeavour went under after losing market share in order to revive their fortunes. The game features four-character parties in its action combat system, and players will be able to explore areas on a motorbike, with some areas featuring racing sections. It includes studio management elements, where players can develop discs that improve characters skills. As the company grows, better discs can be developed.
