Crashlands 2 Version 1.2 Update Releasing This Week

Butterscotch Shenanigans announced that its Version 1.2 update for open-world crafting RPG Crashlands 2 will release on June 24, 2025. The update adds three new gameplay modes: Scramble Mode shuffles equipment, pets, and world progression to make unpredictable runs; Hardcore Mode is a permadeath challenge with leaderboard tracking; and Custom Mode offers a full set of adjustable gameplay settings and sliders. It also includes a new creature found in the Aquadunes, three new pets, expanded base-building, and a more streamlined opening. The full patch notes can be found here.

Crashlands 2 puts players back in the role of intergalactic trucker and disgruntled corporate employee Flux Dabes, who returns to the planet Woanope on vacation. However, a sudden blast causes them to crash land. Players soon encounter a number of mysteries on the planet and must investigate them while upgrading their base and exploring the alien wilderness with various allies. The game is currently available on PC, iOS, and Android.
