Crashlands 2 Update Adds New Difficulty Modes, More

Butterscotch Shenanigans released its version 1.1 update for open-world crafting RPG Crashlands 2. The update is available now on PC, iOS, and Android and features two new difficulty modes: Legend and Explorer. Legend Mode offers a greater challenge than the existing Challenge Mode, while Explorer Mode features more relaxed difficulty.

The update also features the return of the compendium from the previous game, which logs discoveries and stats as well as letting players know what percentage of the game’s recipes, pets, etc. they have uncovered. It also allows pets to act as combat companions, adds bonus stats to crafted armour, allows players to adjust the nighttime darkness, improves base-building, and reblances the start of the game to allow players to start experimenting earlier.

Crashlands 2 puts players back in the role of intergalactic trucker and disgruntled corporate employee Flux Dabes, who returns to the planet Woanope on vacation. However, a sudden blast causes them to crash land. Players soon encounter a number of mysteries on the planet and must investigate them while upgrading their base and exploring the alien wilderness with various allies.
