Nihon Falcom’s Dinosaur Released on Switch

D4 Enterprise has released Nihon Falcom’s 1990 RPG Dinosaur on Nintendo Switch. Originally released for NEC PC-8801 systems in Japan, the game is available internationally on the Nintendo eShop for $6.49 as Eggconsole Dinosaur PC-8801mkIISR. The main game and gallery screen are in Japanese only, while other menu screens and “how to play” screens are in English.

Dinosaur is a fantasy RPG with a “dark and serious storyline”. The game features a 3D first-person perspective with turn-based combos. Abilities such as sword skills, magic, and songs are learned and improve through character experience in their fields, with certain events allowing party members to share skills with each other.
