Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Behind the Scenes Featurette Focuses on Voice Acting

Ahead of the release of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 next week, developer Sandfall Interactive and publisher Kepler Interactive released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for the game. The ten-minute video focuses on the game’s voice acting, including actors Jennifer English, Ben Starr, Kirsty Rider, Shala Nyx, Rich Keeble, and Maxence Cazorla, who talk about their roles.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG set in a world where, once a year, a being called the Paintress wakes and paints a cursed number upon a monolith, which causes everyone of that age to turn to smoke and disappear. Each year, that number ticks down, with the current year set to be the number 33. Players join Gustave and other members of an expedition that sets out, in the footsteps of previous failed expeditions, to try and end the cycle of death once and for all. Players will be able to create their own builds for their party with gear, attributes, skills, and synergies. Combat will utilise a free aim system to let players target weak points, as well as to dodge, parry, and counter in real time. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will release on April 24, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
