Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection Arriving in January

Developer Grimorio of Games announced that Sword of the Necromancer: Resurrection will release on January 23, 2025. The 3D remake of top-down action RPG Sword of the Necromancer will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. A new trailer for the game can be viewed below.

Sword of the Necromancer follows the journey of Tama, who seeks to bring her dead lover Koko back to life using the forbidden powers of the titular sword. Resurrection features a new battle system with improved combos, the ability to customize the AI of summoned monsters, the power to resurrect enemies and turn them into allies, a roguelite mode, and local co-op. A sequel, Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant, is currently in development.
