Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero Season Pass Detailed
NIS America and Nippon Ichi Software have revealed details for the Season Pass for strategy RPG Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero. The Season Pass, priced at $49.99, will include a set of consumable items and three costume options, as well as six crossover story scenarios and additional playable characters set to release in early 2025:
- Bonus Story: Parallel Siblings — Featuring Castile the Chroma and Walnut from Phantom Brave
- Bonus Story: Heroes of the Past — Featuring Scarlet and Sprout from Phantom Brave
- Bonus Story: The Wandering Pirate — Featuring Samayoi from Bar Stella Abyss
- Bonus Story: The Liar and the Lost — Featuring Liar Princess from The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince
- Bonus Story: The Girl Who Cried Ghost — Featuring the Girl (Kotomo) from Yomawari: Night Alone
- Bonus Story: The Rat Who Demons Fear — Featuring Mad Rat & Heart from Mad Rat Dead
In addition, NIS America announced that the Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition for the game are now available to pre-order from the PlayStation Store. Those who pre-order from the PlayStation Store will receive an exclusive Putty Outfit – Putumia preorder bonus. Meanwhile, Nippon Ichi Software released a demo version for the game in Japan on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. The demo lets players access up to the start of the game’s second chapter and transfer their progress to the full game. A western release has not been announced.
A sequel to Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle, Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero is set in the oceanic world of Ivoire. As Marona and Ash return home from a regular job, they are attacked by the ghost ships of the Shipwreck Fleet, during which Marona’s powers are stolen by a masked man and she and Ash are separated. After washing ashore, Marona encounters a Phantom girl named Apricot who agrees to help her fight the new threat that looms over the seas of Ivoire. In their quest to assemble a crew capable to defeat the Shipwreck Fleet, they will have to become pirates themselves and fight to expand their territory. Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on January 30, 2025, with a PC version to follow in spring 2025.
