Chernobylite Radiates onto Switch
Publisher Untold Tales and developer The Farm 51 have announced a Nintendo Switch release for survival horror RPG Chernobylite. The Nintendo Switch version of the game is being created by PixelAnt Games and will release digitally in late 2024 or early 2025. It will be available in two editions: a Complete Edition that includes the full game and all current content updates from the existing versions, and a Premium Edition that adds a digital soundtrack and art book plus two cosmetic weapons and the Seasoned Scavenger and Irradiated Hideout DLCs.
Chernobylite is a survival horror RPG that follows Igor, a physicist and former employee of the Chernobyl Power Plant who is investigating the mysterious disappearance of his fiancé, Tatyana, thirty years ago. The game recreates the real-life Exclusion Zone site using 3D-scanning technology and features free exploration, stealth, combat, crafting, base-building, resource management, and a non-linear story. The game released in 2021 and is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. A sequel, Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone, is planned to release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2025.
