Sea of Stars takes inspiration from classic RPGs of the 90s and is set in the same universe as Sabotage Studio’s first game, The Messenger. The story follows the adventure of the two children of the Solstice as they seek to combine the powers of the sun and moon to fight the evil alchemist known as the Fleshmancer. The game is currently available on PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, for $34.99. Subscribers of either Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, or PlayStation Plus’s Extra and Premium membership tiers get the title included with their subscription. Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly become obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as more as gameplay. Now, I am, writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
