Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released over the week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases where the game is still in development.
Baladins

Fantasy RPG Baladins is set in the fantasy world of Gatherac, which is presented with a paper-craft aesthetic inspired from board games. Players take control of the game’s titular heroes, who are trapped in a time loop and tasked with bringing happiness wherever they go. Each time, the Baladins fail to fulfill their duty within a six-week period, they are sent back in time by the dragon Colobra, which feeds on the mirth and adventures experienced by the heroes. Baladins has combat-free gameplay, with dialog choices and dice rolls being the primary means to complete quests. PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch versions are planned for a later date.
Biomutant

Action RPG Biomutant takes place in a post-apocalyptic, kung fu-inspired setting, where players take control of an anthropomorphized creature. As players explore the game’s open world, they are able to use mutations to customize their character and their powers. Break the Loop

Turn-based roguelite RPG Break the Loop sees players taking a party of four members from twelve playable characters aiming to defeat an abyssal monster determined to enslave the world. Thanks to genius Chronomancer Friedrich and his time-traveling machine, players control a team of past heroes through their own timeline of random events.
Dread Delusion
Open-world adventure RPG Dread Delusion is set in a broken world afflicted by an undead curse, where humans survive by hanging on to continents in the sky. Players have the choice of either healing the world and restoring normality or pursuing personal gain. While exploring numerous fantasy towns and completing quests, players will have the opportunity to learn more about the mysterious world by interacting with its inhabitants. Kingdom of Fallen: The Last Stand

Adventure RPG Kingdom of Fallen: The Last Stand takes place in a cursed kingdom where players are put in the role of a protagonist who is on the precipice of life and death. They wake up to find their daughter missing and must fight to survive in order to find her. While exploring different environments such as dungeons and beaches, players can collect resources to craft better weapons and armour. Enemies range from knights to mystifying wraiths and tough bosses, with the difficulty often dependent on the player’s equipment.
Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution

Neptunia spin-off Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution stars an older version of series protagonist Neptune. It is set in a world with competing game studios and sees Neptune joining up with a trio of developer goddesses whose endeavour went under after losing market share in order to revive their fortunes. The game will feature four-character parties in its action combat system, and players will be able to explore areas on a motorbike, with some areas featuring racing sections. It will also include a photo mode and studio management elements, where players can develop discs that improve characters skills. As the company grows, better discs can be developed. An Xbox Series X|S release is planned for later in the year.
The Land Beneath Us

The Land Beneath Us is a turn-based roguelite dungeon crawler with inspiration from Welsh mythology. Players battle through the underworld of Annwn, controlling the Ultimate Soul Harvester. Seeking to rescue its Creator and retrieve Soul-Technology, the USH needs to conquer the Seven Lords. Players can create their own powerful combos in the fast-paced combat system, wielding weapons including axes, spears, and laser pistols.
Touhou Genso Wanderer -Foresight-

Roguelike dungeon-crawling RPG Touhou Genso Wanderer -Foresight- is the latest entry in the Genso Wanderer doujin series. It follows Reimu Hakurei, who awakens in Hakurei Shrine without her memories after being defeated in battle. Alongside the deuteragonist, Marisa Kirisame, she begins her journey to reclaim her memories and prevent the destruction of Gensokyo from a mysterious enemy in the process.
Wantless: Solace At World’s End

Wantless: Solace at World’s End is billed as a fast-paced tactical RPG with a focus on challenging combat and skill-crafting. The game is set in a dystopian future, with players controlling Eiris. He is one of the last Transposers, a doctor who is able to delve into the minds and memories of the patients. Eiris takes on manifestations of his patients’ internal horrors in turn-based combat, but every action he takes during each turn grants more actions for enemies on theirs.
