Genshin Impact Version 4.7 Set to Release June 5

The newest update to the free-to-play, open-world RPG, Genshin Impact, was announced by developer and publisher, HoYoverse. The version 4.7 update, titled “An Everlasting Dream Intertwined,” will release on June 5, 2024, and see three playable characters be added to the roster: Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos. On top of the added characters, a new challenge domain will be available for players to explore, called Imaginarium Theater. The domain will officially start its monthly cycle July 1, 2024, and is accessible from the hidden chamber in the Monstadt Library, while the existing Spiral Abyss domain’s reset date will shift to the 16th day of the month.

Other features of the update will include a new tower-defense mini-game event titled the Mutual Security Enhancing Simulation. The mini-game will allow players to utilize their own monster troops in an offensive or defensive game. The update also includes the continuation of the main story Archon Quest, where players will be able to enjoy the Twin Travelers and Dainsleif meeting again.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play action RPG that originally released in September 2020 and is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. Players control a character in the world of Teyvat known as the Traveler and must embark on a journey to find their missing sibling. They are joined by NPC companion Paimon, travelling in a party of up to four active members.
