Dark Envoy Director’s Cut Update Releasing Next Week

Developer Event Horizon announced that it is releasing a Director’s Cut update for cRPG Dark Envoy. The update will release for PC on Steam and GOG.com on May 15, 2024. Taking on board player feedback from the six months since the game’s release, it will include new cutscenes and narrative changes, as well as new items, game balance adjustments, and more.

Dark Envoy stars sibling duo Malakai and Kaela, who are joined by six available companions. The world, which is embroiled in a conflict between magic and technology, shifts as time passes in-game, influenced by player decisions. The game features real-time-with-pause combat system and can be played solo or in two-player online co-op.
