Dream Tactics Also Coming to Nintendo Switch

Developer Spectra Entertainment and publisher Freedom Games announced that strategy RPG Dream Tactics is coming to Nintendo Switch alongside its forthcoming release on PC via Steam. The title will launch on PC worldwide and Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe on April 15, 2024, with the Japanese Nintendo Switch release set for April 18, 2024. The game is priced at $17.99 USD.

Dream Tactics sees Neru and her friends fighting against the Pillows, who have taken over the Dream World and put its inhabitants into an unending sleep. Its combat utilizes cards on a grid-based battlefield as players control a party of four characters. Each turn players redraw their hand, with multiple cards usable per turn provided players can afford their usage cost. The game is billed as a homage to Game Boy Advance RPGs. Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
