Destiny 2: The Final Shape Introduces The Pale Heart

Developer Bungie revealed a new trailer for Destiny 2‘s Final Shape expansion. The two-minute-long video introduces The Pale Heart, which is a new destination inside of the Traveler. Initially a paradise, The Pale Heart gets corrupted gradually, revealing a threat Cayde-6 urges players to deal with swiftly for the sake of the entire universe.

The Final Shape sees players take on their main antagonist the Witness alongside companions Ikora Rey, Commander Zavala, and the mysteriously returned Cayde-6. The campaign takes players into the heart of the Traveler in a new location called The Pale Heart and will culminate in a new raid. The Pale Heart is said to be shaped by both the Witness and the Guardians, and will feature callbacks to previous events and locations, including a version of Destiny’s original Tower. The Final Shape will launch for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on June 4, 2024
