Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch Beta Sign-Ups Available
Developer Ocean Drive Studio announced that it is running its first beta playtest for Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch, its spin-off to tactical RPG Lost Eidolons. The beta will run for PC, with those interested in participating able to sign-up via the game’s Steam page. The beta will include the first of the three acts planned to be available upon the game’s Early Access launch, including five combat scenarios with nine characters to use in the five-member party. The schedule for the beta has not yet been announced.
Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch is set in the same world, shortly after the events of Lost Eidolons, though the developer promises the story will be fully standalone and not require any previous knowledge. The gameplay features roguelike and streamlined elements, and will see each character having a single class with fixed weapons and armor, though players will still be able to unlock new skills and upgrade gear. Full releases on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch are planned to follow its PC Early Access launch, currently expected later this year.
