Coridden Kickstarter Campaign Goes Live

Sweden-based developer Aftnareld and publisher Anshar Publishing have launched a Kickstarter campaign for action RPG Coridden. It is planned for release on PC via Steam, GOG.com, and Epic Games Store during Q3 2024 and will be featured during Steam Next Fest on February 5, 2024. A free demo of the game is available via Steam.

Coridden is set on planet Heera, where four siblings receive artifacts that give them the ability to transform into any monster they defeat. They set off on a journey to uncover the secrets of the ancient city of Aasha. Players can switch between human and monster form at will without a cooldown period. Each form has its unique abilities and characteristics with up to four human classes and six beast masteries that can be combined. The game features a solo and four-player co-op mode that can be played locally and online.

The Kickstarter campaign is set to run until March 1, 2024, and has a goal of €20,000. Those who pledge at least €24 (around $21) will receive a digital copy of the game as part of their rewards.

I have been gaming since I received the Sega Master System as a young child, which was the first console I ever owned (Yes, I am that old). The game that got me into RPGs was Final Fantasy VIII, a game that I still adore to this day. My favorite RPG of all time, however, is Shadow Hearts on the PS2. I do have many other interests outside of gaming as well, such as watching old-school wrestling, Reading books, 80s movies.... or anything 80s related as a matter of fact.
