Coridden Alpha Playtest Underway, New Trailer Released

Anshar Publishing announced the launch of an alpha playtest for Aftnareld’s upcoming action RPG Coridden. Those willing to participate in this playtest can check the game’s Steam page. The playtest, planned to run until the end of this month, lets players access a substantial part of the main story and complete several side quests, with many areas and skills available. In addition, the company released a new trailer that showcases the game’s battle system.

Coridden is set on planet Heera, where four siblings receive artifacts that give them the ability to transform into any monster they defeat. They set off on a journey to uncover the secrets of the ancient city of Aasha. Players can switch between human and monster form at will. Each form has its unique abilities and characteristics with up to four human classes and six beast masteries that can be combined. The game features a solo and four-player co-op mode that can be played locally and online. Coridden is currently being developed for PC (via Steam), with its release planned for later this year.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
