Sand Land Dev Diary Details Vehicles, Enemies

Bandai Namco released the first in a developer diary series of videos from the upcoming Sand Land. The six-minute video features Game Producer Keishu Minami and Social Marketing Manager Samantha Reinert, who discuss main protagonist Beelzebub’s combat abilities, vehicle combat and customisation options, and the various enemies players will take on in the action RPG. The video also features a selection of gameplay clips.

Sand Land is based on the 2000 manga of the same name from Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama and set in a desert world where humans and demons are suffering from a water shortage. The game follows Beelzebub as he joins Sheriff Rao and the demon Thief to search for a Legendary Spring. Players explore the world on foot and in a variety of vehicles, with the game featuring both vehicular and character-based combat. The game is being developed by ILCA for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, but does not currently have a release date.
