New Release Round-Up (October 26, 2023)
Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released over the week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases where the game is still in development.
Crymachina

Action RPG Crymachina is set in a post-apocalyptic world where mechanical girls aim to survive and become real humans. The game sees players travelling between battlegrounds filled with mechanical foes around Eden and a safe haven known as Imitation Garden. At the garden, players can relax, customise weapons, and witness conversations between the game’s characters.
Dark Envoy
Non-linear cRPG Dark Envoy stars sibling duo Malakai and Kaela, who are joined by six available companions. The world, which is embroiled in a conflict between magic and technology, shifts as time passes in-game, influenced by player decisions. The game features real-time-with-pause combat system and can be played solo or in two-player online co-op.
Dave the Diver

Dave the Diver is a mixture of adventure RPG, sea exploration, and sushi restaurant management. It sees players take the role of Dave as he is recruited by a friend to help with a brand new sushi restaurant. Dave is tasked with exploring vast, ever-changing ocean depths during the day to hunt fish and acquire items, then assisting with managing the restaurant at night.
Gordian Quest

Deckbuilding RPG Gordian Quest notes old-school CRPGs (such as Ultima and Dungeons & Dragons) as inspirations. Players take a party of three members, selected from ten playable heroes, through produrally-generated maps. The game features a four-act Campaign Mode, as well as a short-form roguelite Realm Mode, longer-form Adventure Mode, and two-player PvP mode. It features multiple difficulty options, including optional permadeath.
Heroes of Drakemire

Heroes of Drakemire is a turn-based RPG said to be inspired by classic JRPGs. It follows Brutus and his party with 80+ quests available over 50+ maps.
Mistrogue: Mist and the Living Dungeons
Roguelike action RPG Mistrogue: Mist and the Living Dungeons sees players take the role of Mist, an adventurer who scours dungeons for treasure to later sell in the town of Lootgar. Players can customize their skill deck to find powerful combinations and overwhelm opponents in their quest for treasure. The game previously released in Early Access earlier in 2023.
Sands of Aura

Isometric action RPG Sands of Aura is a dark fantasy action RPG that puts players in the role of a member of the Order of Remnant Knights, a group trying to protect what remains of the sand-covered world of Talamhel. Players sail across the sea of sand to various islands, defeating whatever foes they come across.
Wizardry: The Five Ordeals
Dungeon-crawler Wizardry: The Five Ordeals is a rerelease of 2006 Japan-exclusive Wizardry Gaiden: Five Ordeals, originally released under the moniker Itsutsu no Shiren. The game was released on Early Access in December 2021, with English support added in August 2022. There are two additional DLC scenarios available: Prisoners of the Battles and The Absence of Misericordia.
World of Horror

Horror RPG World of Horror is inspired by the works of Junji Ito and H.P. Lovecraft. The game features fourteen playable characters investigating harrowing events around the seaside town of Shiokawa in 198X after the Old Gods return, bringing with them various unspeakable monstrosities. The game features twenty mysteries designed with replayability in mind as players fight in turn-based combat while trying to stay alive and not succumb to madness.
