The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered Announced

NIS America has announced a remaster for FuRyu and Cattle Call’s The Legend of Legacy. The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in early 2024. It will include English and Japanese audio options.

The Legend of Legacy was originally released for Nintendo 3DS in 2015. Its North American release was handled by Atlus, while NIS America published the game in Europe. The game is a turn-based RPG that acted as a spiritual successor to the SaGa series before its revival in recent years. The Legend of Legacy itself received a spiritual follow-up titled The Alliance Alive.

The Legend of Legacy is set around the island of Avalon, which was discover ten years prior. The game follows the stories of seven heroes who venture onto the island for their own reasons. Its combat makes heavy use of formations and combat roles, as well as elemental spirits. In addition to money and items, winning battles can rewards players with randomised stat increases.
