Fishing RPG Whisker Waters Announced

Publisher Merge Games and developer Underbite announced fantasy fishing RPG Whisker Waters. The game puts players in the role of a young feline in a world under threat from a mysterious darkness. They set out to become a legendary Fish Ranger, who previously help guarded the world with rods and reels during the Great Disturbance.

The game sees players venturing out, using their tools to explore and catch a wide variety of fish, each with its own individual tricks to being reeled in. Players can customise their character, befriend locals, solve challenges, unlock rewards, and more. Whisker Waters is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch and is planned to release in early 2024.
