Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II Switch Restored Content DLC Cancelled

Aspyr announced that it has cancelled its plans to release Restored Content DLC for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. The DLC was intended to add new crew dialogue and interactions, a revamped ending, and a bonus mission for HK-47. Asypr announced it is offering a complimentary video game key to those who have previously purchased the game on Nintendo Switch; more details on how to apply for a game key can be found below alongside a message from Aspyr.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and originally released for Xbox in 2004. It was brought to PC, Mac, and Linux in 2005, and iOS and Android in 2020, with its Nintendo Switch version released in 2022. The game is set roughly 4,000 years before the film series and five years after the first game. It follows a new protagonist, an exiled Jedi Knight who awakens in a mining facility some time after the Jedi Order has been wiped out by the Sith.
