Like a Dragon 8 Renamed Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced that the latest mainline Yakuza/Like a Dragon game, announced as Like a Dragon 8, will be titled Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. The rename was announced with a new trailer, which shows returning Yakuza: Like a Dragon protagonist Ichiban Kasuga waking up naked on a Hawaiian beach.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is being developed for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, and is planned to release worldwide in 2024. The game will feature two main protagonists with long-time series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu joining Ichiban Kasuga in the role. Ryu ga Gotoku Studio previously announced Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is likely to continue using the turn-based combat system of Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
