Gameplay Trailer Materializes for Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Focus Entertainment and Don’t Nod have released a gameplay trailer for the upcoming supernatural action RPG Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, featuring the game’s dual protagonists as they explore New Eden and face off against various undead foes. The game is set in the fictional North American wilds of New Eden in the year 1695. It follows Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith. The pair are lovers and work as Banishers, ghost hunters protecting the living from hostile spectres. However, Antea is fatally wounded on a mission, becoming a spirit, and the pair venture in search of a way to free her. The game will contain choices that impact the story and fate of New Eden’s inhabitants.

The game is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and is set to release late 2023. Pre-orders for the digital PC edition ($59.99) or physical console editions ($69.99) are also available via Steam and the Focus Entertainment Store. All pre-orders will receive the “Wanderer Set” in-game DLC. A $199.99 Collector’s Edition is also available for pre-order, which includes a statuette of Red and Antea, an official artbook, a Steelbook case, two Banisher signet rings, the game, and the “Wanderer Set” DLC.
