Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden Pushed to February

Focus Entertainment and DON’T NOD announced that they have pushed back the release of action RPG Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Previously planned to release in November 2023, the game will now launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 13, 2024. The companies provided the follow statement:

We have decided to postpone the release of this new franchise by three months, as the market is experiencing an intense release cycle for AAA titles on PC and consoles at the end of the year. We are convinced that a commercial release of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden during a less saturated period will give it the attention it deserves.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is set in the fictional North American wilds of New Eden in the year 1695. It follows Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith. The pair are lovers and work as Banishers, ghost hunters protecting the living from hostile spectres. However, Antea is fatally wounded on a mission, becoming a spirit, and the pair venture in search of a way to free her.
