Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden Examines the Consequences

Don’t Nod and Focus Entertainment have released a new look at the upcoming Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Featuring commentary from writer Stéphane Beauverger and stars Russ Bain and Amaka Okafor, the trailer gives a look into the choices players will make and their consequences by looking at one of the game’s early quests.

Banishers follows the couple Red Mac Raith and Antea Duarte, Banishers tasked with finding the spirits of the dead among the living and sending them to the afterlife. After an encounter with a powerful spirit, Antea is killed and finds herself as returned as a ghost. The couple must then decide to either allow Antea to pass on or to collect other souls in hopes of resurrecting her. Players will tackle cases and come to their own conclusions about their outcomes. Banishers is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 13, 2024.
