Farsiders Gets Alpha Gameplay Preview Video

Developer GambitGhost Studio released a game preview video featuring alpha footage from its hack-and-slash action RPG Farsiders. The thirteen-minute video shows some of the game’s exploration and combat elements, as well as its character loadout and growth systems, as protagonist Cassie fights her way across an icy landscape.

Farsiders is inspired by Arthurian legends but set in a futuristic cyberpunk world. The game sees Cassie travelling back and forth between her present, the 2085 metropolis of Ostahl, and the past in Tellune. The game features top-down hack-and-slash combat, with players able to use both technology and magic to enhance Cassie’s chances of survival against the various enemies she encounters.

Farsiders is being developed for PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation and Xbox consoles. It is currently planned to release initially on PC later this year, with console versions to follow.
