Deckbuilding Roguelite Deck of Souls Announced
Developer Bigboot Studios and publisher HeroCraft have announced roguelite Deck of Souls. Revealed at the Guerilla Collective event, the game aims to marry deckbuilding elements with Souls-like sensibilities to create a unique experience. The game is in development for PC and is available to wishlist on Steam.
Deck of Souls will let players create their hero from a number of classes, then begin to build a custom deck to face their foes, the “offspring of darkness”. The souls of slain enemies can then be turned into new cards to further customize the deck. Bosses also have a unique mechanic that allows players to decide to execute them or spare them to earn their assistance.
