Wild Hearts’s First April Update Detailed

EA and Koei Tecmo provided details for action RPG Wild Hearts‘s next post-launch content update. The third update, titled Lethal Blossoms, is its biggest so far and is set to launch on April 6, 2023. It introduces a new fox-type wind-using Kemono species, the Murakumo, as well as a new Spinning Top Fusion Karakuri. The Spinning Top gains power and speed with each obstacle it hits and can stagger attacking Kemono. The update also adds a new Limit Break system, where players can use Core Orbs to further enhance their equipment.

Developed by Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force studio, Wild Hearts takes place in a world inspired by feudal Japan. Players are tasked with restoring the balance of nature by hunting the Kemono, solo or in teams of up to three. The game released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 17, 2023, and features cross-play across all platforms.
