Sword Art Online: Last Recollection Launching in October

Bandai Namco announced that Sword Art Online: Last Recollection will release on October 6, 2023. Planned as the last entry in the game series’s continuity, the game is being developed by Aquria and will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection‘s events are inspired by the main light novel/anime series’ Underworld War arc. It sees Kirito preparing for battle as the gate to the Dark Territory opens, threatening to unleash terror on the Human Realm in the Underworld, while in the real world, forces are attempting to evolve AIs through its warfare.
