Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord Launching in April

Idea Factory International announced that Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord will release in North America and Europe on April 25, 2023. The game will be available physically and digitally on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Standard physical editions are available to pre-order now for $49.99, with pre-order for its Limited Edition to begin on February 28, 2023 through Idea Factory International’s North American and European online stores. The Limited Edition contains:

• Physical copy of Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, or Nintendo Switch with reversible cover sleeve
• Steel game case
• Hardcover art book, including short story “The Fairyologist’s Lazy Day Off”
• 2-disc original Soundtrack
• Music book including piano arrangements of “Notes of Faith” and “Frozen Polar Nights
• Collector’s box
• Exclusive trading card

Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord takes place after the events of Fairy Fencer F and its enhanced Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force release. It sees Fang and his allies encountering Muses who are able to use the power of song to boost and alter other people’s abilities. The game is developed by Compile Heart and Sting, and features a new grid-based tactical combat system that makes use of character orientation and height differences.
