Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released over the week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases where the game is still in development.
Alphadia Neo

Alphadia Neo is a new entry in the Alphadia retro-styled RPG series. The game is set in a world where battles are breaking out over life energy and follows an amnesiac man who meets a princess whose kingdom has been destroyed. Each party member has three different combat styles that can be switched between.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a retelling of Dragon Ball Z, a manga and anime series centered on Kakarot, more commonly known as Goku. The dedicated PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions launch alongside Bardock – Alone Against Fate, the game’s fourth DLC and first piece included in its second Season Pass. Gatewalkers
Co-op action RPG Gatewalkers sees players controlling the chosen few people able to go through dimensional gates and explore the worlds on the other side, accomplishing missions set out by their guild. The game features isometric action combat, with players required to aim attacks themselves. Worlds are randomly generated and players will need to contend with monsters and hostile environments and craft items to survive.
HEROish

“Card-battling MOBA-lite” RPG HEROish sees players building a deck of minions and abilities to take their chosen character across three available campaigns. There are six characters to choose from across its Imperial, Cursed, and Feral factions with their own play styles and abilities. The game includes cross-platform PvP for PC and consoles with 1v1 and 2v2 matches available.
One Piece Odyssey

Turn-based RPG One Piece Odyssey helps mark the manga series’ 25th anniversary with its story supervised by series creator Eiichiro Oda. It sees the Straw Hat Crew marooned and separated from each other on a mysterious island following a storm that destroys their ship, the Thousand Sunny. The game features nine playable characters — Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, and Brook — with the game voiced by its original Japanese anime voice cast. A demo is available that lets players transfer their progress to the full game.
Path of the Midnight Sun

Path of the Midnight Sun is a hybrid visual novel and turn-based RPG with three different viewpoint characters as well as systems tracking characters relationships and mental states. The game is set on the continent of Arvium, which is under threat from a Demon King. After his arrival sixty years prior, humanity managed to trap the Demon King’s soul within a human. Sailing Era

Sailing Era is a sandbox sailing-based RPG set during the 15th to 17th century. Players select a character and set out to explore seas across the world, forming their own fleet and recruiting allies. The game features real-time naval battles as well as land exploration systems.

Black-and-white adventure RPG UnderDungeon puts players in the role of delivery cat Kimuto on the first day of his new job. Players explore the world of Kutopia, which has been changed by the mysterious appearance of monsters, uncovering various mechanics as they progress including arcade stages, rhythm sections, and 3D levels.
We Are the Caretakers

We Are the Caretakers is a sci-fi grand strategy RPG with squad management elements. The game is set on an afrofuturist planet when aliens make contact and show interest in a rhino-like species called the Raun. Players control the Conductor and attempt to protect the Raun from poachers by deploying squads of Caretakers. The game had been in Early Access since 2021.
