Remnant II Announced

Gearbox Software and Gunfire Games have announced Remnant II. The sequel to 2019’s Remnant: From the Ashes will once again have up to three players at battling the Root through semi-random campaigns that seeds a unique path through the game when started. Like its predecessor, the game features a mix of shooting and melee combat with a heavier focus on customizable Archetypes. Archetypes will provide players with unique bonuses and powers, with multiple able to be equipped for greater variety of playstyles.

Remnant II is a third person action RPG where players can swap between shooting and melee at an instant. The game is set to release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2023. For more information on the previous game, RPGamer’s review of Remnant: From the Ashes can be read here.
