Online Action RPG Wayfinder Revealed

Publisher Digital Extremes and developer Airship Syndicate have announced Wayfinder. The game is an online action RPG in development for PC and consoles. An initial playtest is planned to begin on PC on December 13, 2022, with an additional playtest and closed beta planned for early 2023 on PC and PlayStation 5. The game will then get a public Early Access release on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in spring 2023, before a full launch in late 2023. Wayfinder is set in the world of Evenor, which is being consumed by a force called the Gloom. Players choose from a roster of eponymous Wayfinders — adventurers fighting against the Gloom, each with their own story, play style, and abilities — and take them into dungeon-like Lost Zones that have been consumed by the Gloom. Players can alter them with their Gloom Dagger, affecting elements like enemies encountered and resources dropped, but the Gloom will push back with augments of its own.
